Once guests arrive in Cashel, all wedding celebrations will take place either within the grounds of Cashel Palace Hotel or just a short walk away.

We recommend arriving the day before the wedding to settle in, explore the town, and enjoy time together ahead of the celebrations. Both the Wedding Day and Day Two festivities will take place within easy reach.

With accommodation, dining, and historic landmarks all nearby, we hope guests will have the opportunity to enjoy their time in Ireland before and after the wedding weekend.

At it's centre sits the iconic Rock of Cashel, one of Ireland’s most significant historic landmarks, rising dramatically above the town on its limestone outcrop. Cashel itself offers a selection of independent cafés, traditional pubs, and local shops, all set within a beautifully preserved historic centre.

If you're making a weekend of it at Cashel Palace, we'd definitely recommend enjoying the hotel's spa and, if you can, booking dinner at The Bishop's Buttery - its Michelin-starred restaurant.

Set in the heart of the Golden Vale - a rich stretch of farmland across south Tipperary, known for its world-class horse breeding - guests can experience rare, behind-the-scenes access to Coolmore Stud, one of the most prestigious thoroughbred breeding operations in the world.

Guests can explore Cork city’s restaurants, galleries, and historic streets, or continue further along the coast to West Cork and Kinsale, both known for their harbour views and acclaimed food scene. Fun fact - our first Irish staycation together was in Kinsale. Our favourite restaurants were Man Fridays & Finns Farmcut!

For guests flying into Shannon or extending their stay, Ireland’s west coast is within easy reach.
